JSPM’s Shivajirao Patil Kavekar College of Pharmacy, Latur offers both D.Pharm (Two Year Course) & B.Pharm (Four Year Course) in Pharmacy. The students, pass out of junior college are trained in the various aspects of pharmaceutical sciences and then they emerge as professionals in the field of pharmacy. We believe not only in academic excellence but also in the overall development of our students. With high moral values, our students blend professionalism and a sense of social responsibility so as to be recognized as dutiful citizens of the country.

Over the last 20 years some of our JSPM’s students by virtue of being ‘university toppers’ have made us proud. Each year the academic excellence is reflected by the number of students who are distinction holders. At the same time, our students also actively participate in the intercollegiate events and lot of extra-curricular activities throughout the year.

Our highly qualified, experienced and devoted staff trains the students in all aspects not only related to syllabus but also guide them regarding advanced areas like pharmacogenomics, pharmaceutical biotechnology, pharmacovigilence and globalization of pharma sector. Special attention is given for the competitive examinations viz. GPAT, GRE, TOFEL, IELTS, CAT, MPSC, UPSC and so on.

Once the students have graduated in the field of pharmacy manifold options are available to them. They can be pursued higher studies in the field of pharmacy/management (in India or abroad), join the pharmaceutical manufacturing, Research & Development, Medical Coding, hospital pharmacy and clinical research. Wherever they have been, the SPKCOP will leave their mark.
